Dubai: In preparation for the 19th Asian Youth Handball Championship scheduled to be held in the People's Republic of China in July 2026, the national youth indoor handball team will participate in an international friendly tournament for youth teams in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 27 June to 1 July 2026.
According to Oman News Agency, the national team will play its first friendly match against Qatar on 27 June 2026, while the UAE face Bahrain on the same day. In the second round, Oman will play Bahrain, while the UAE will play Qatar. The Omani team will conclude its friendly preliminary round with a game against hosts UAE.
