Oman: Oman national men's volleyball team continues its intensive preparations at Sohar Sports Complex under the guidance of Tunisian head coach Nizar Al Shakili. The team is gearing up for the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship, which will be hosted by the Indian city of Ahmedabad during 20-28 June 2026.
According to Oman News Agency, the draw placed Oman in Group Two alongside Qatar, Korea, Turkmenistan, Indonesia, and Thailand. Group One consists of hosts India, Australia, Bahrain, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, and Chinese Taipei.
The championship will follow a single round-robin format within each group. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, while the remaining teams will compete in classification matches to determine their final rankings.
