Oman, Philippines Ink MoU to Enhance Health Cooperation

Geneva: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed today in Geneva by the Ministry of Health of the Sultanate of Oman and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of the Philippines to upgrade health cooperation in accordance with the two countries’ mutual interests.

According to Oman News Agency, the MoU includes the exchange of useful information, expertise and best practices, health technology updates, standard primary care mechanisms and medical equipment. The agreement aims to facilitate the sharing of research and studies and promote capacity building for human resources operating in the health sector.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Hilal Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, and Dr. Teodoro Javier Herbosa, Minister of Health of the Philippines. This agreement will expand the scope of bilateral cooperation in the medical field and enable the two countries to gain insights from each other’s health strategies and healthcare.
