Ankara: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Trkiye held a joint discussion session in Ankara. The session was led by Maj. General Idris Abdulrahman Al Kindi, Secretary-General of the National Security Council at the Diwan of Royal Court, representing the Omani side, while the Turkish delegation was headed by Okay Memis, Secretary-General of the National Security Council.
According to Oman News Agency, both nations reaffirmed their commitment to a close strategic partnership during the discussions. They underlined the importance that their respective leaderships place on strengthening bilateral relations, which are built on a foundation of trust and mutual respect.
The discussions covered a range of issues of mutual interest, with a particular focus on the significance of maintaining security and stability in the region. In addition to the joint session, Maj. General Idris Abdulrahman Al Kindi engaged in several bilateral meetings with Turkish officials, further solidifying the cooperative ties between Oman and Trkiye.
