Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman and the European Union convened a joint dialogue on human rights in Muscat, involving several specialized authorities. The session underscored the commitment of both parties to bolster cooperation in human rights, ensuring alignment with international standards and the promotion of justice and equality principles.
According to Oman News Agency, the Omani delegation was led by Saleh Yahya Al Maskari, Head of the Global Affairs Department at the Foreign Ministry. The European delegation was headed by Anna Maria, who is the Head of the Arabian Peninsula and Iraq Division at the European External Action Service (EEAS).
