Oman and Australia Engage in Political Talks in Muscat

Muscat: The first session of political talks between the Sultanate of Oman and Australia took place today in Muscat. The discussions marked a significant step in the diplomatic relations between the two nations, focusing on various avenues for cooperation.

According to Oman News Agency, the Omani delegation was led by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Hosni, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department at the Foreign Ministry, while the Australian delegation was headed by Paul Griffiths, First Assistant Secretary for the Middle East and Africa Division at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The meeting aimed to strengthen bilateral relations and explore opportunities for collaboration, with particular emphasis on economic, investment, and cultural partnerships.
