Muscat: Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, today met with Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The meeting focused on enhancing trade and investment relations between Oman and Afghanistan, exploring cooperation opportunities across sectors.
According to Oman News Agency, discussions aimed at improving the business environment, attracting investments, facilitating trade procedures, and supporting initiatives to strengthen economic ties. An emphasis was placed on increasing trade exchange volume. After the meeting, the Afghan delegation was briefed on the “Invest Oman” lounge, showcasing key investment opportunities across economic sectors.
