Accra:Oman Air has entered into a new codeshare agreement with Finnair, aimed at enhancing travel options between Oman, Finland, and Australia. This marks the first such partnership for Oman Air since joining the Oneworld alliance in June 2025.
According to Oman News Agency, the agreement allows passengers to travel seamlessly to Helsinki via London Heathrow, with Oman Air offering 11 weekly flights from Muscat to London. The partnership includes flights operated by Finnair from Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Milan, and Rome to Helsinki. Additionally, the codeshare extends to Australia, facilitating connections to Melbourne via Bangkok, where Oman Air operates two daily flights.
Rohan Patel, Head of Partnerships and Alliances at Oman Air, stated that the collaboration with Finnair is a significant strategic move that leverages Oman Air's membership in the global alliance. This expansion is set to provide Oman Air customers with easier access to Helsinki and further connections through Finnair's extensive network.
