Oil Rises on Supply Disruptions Concerns

Muscat: Oil prices rose today as escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine heightened concerns over supply disruptions. Brent crude added 40 cents, or 0.59%, to $68.55 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate was at $65.06 a barrel, up $1.05, or 1.64%.

According to Oman News Agency, WTI futures did not settle on Monday due to the holiday in the United States. The ongoing geopolitical tensions have sparked fears over potential impacts on global oil supply, pushing prices upward in the market.
