Muscat: Oil prices rose today as investors sought greater clarity on the direction of negotiations between the United States and Iran, while lingering concerns over supply tightness fuelled by ongoing maritime shipping disruptions continued to weigh on markets. Brent crude futures gained 73 cents, or 0.7 percent, to reach $109.76 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures slipped 26 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $111.28 per barrel.
