Oil Prices Dip as Markets Weigh US-Iran Talks After Ceasefire Extension

Brent crude futures declined 21 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $98.27 per barrel, after touching $99.38 earlier in the session. US West Texas Intermediate crude futures dropped 28 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $89.39 per barrel, having risen to $90.71.

According to Oman News Agency, both benchmark contracts gained about three percent on Tuesday. US crude oil inventories fell by 4.5 million barrels last week, snapping three consecutive weeks of builds, while gasoline and distillate stockpiles also declined.
