Sohar:The Municipal Council of North Al Batinah Governorate convened today to deliberate on domestic development and public service issues across various sectors.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting was presided over by Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al Kindi, Governor of North Al Batinah and Chairman of the Municipal Council. The council evaluated a report from the Health and Environmental Affairs Committee, based on the committee's visit to Al Suwaiq Hospital.
The council also examined a report by the Social Affairs Committee, which highlighted challenges faced by individuals with hearing impairments and proposed enhancements to services for this community. Additionally, the council reviewed plans for the upcoming 5th edition of the Sohar Festival, noting the success of the 4th edition, which attracted approximately 507,000 visitors and supported 173 household business establishments.
