Muscat: The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) is spearheading two distinct surveys aimed at gathering insights into consumer confidence and satisfaction with government services. The initiative is part of a broader effort to gauge public sentiment and enhance service quality.
According to Oman News Agency, the Consumer Confidence Survey commenced on 15 September 2025 and will continue until 3 October 2025. This survey targets Omani citizens aged 18 years and above, with participation from over 1,500 citizens across different governorates in the Sultanate of Oman. The survey maintains gender balance among respondents.
The second survey focuses on measuring beneficiaries’ satisfaction with government services. Running from 10 September 2025 to 30 November 2025, this survey aims to evaluate the satisfaction levels of individuals, private sector establishments, and government departments. The objective is to elevate service quality standards to meet the needs and aspirations of the society.
