On behalf of Muslim World League (MWL) Secretary-General Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the MWL’s Deputy Secretary-General, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah AlZaid, attended the opening of the 9th International Fatwa Conference, organized by Egypt’s Dar Al-Ifta in Cairo.
Dr. AlZaid delivered Sheikh Dr. Al-Issa’s speech, in which he commended the Saudi government, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their efforts to stop the atrocities in Gaza. He highlighted the significant international mobilization and historic summits hosted by Saudi Arabia regarding this critical issue. He emphasized that the conference aligns with MWL objectives, particularly the creation of the “Makkah Document,” an Islamic charter praised internationally and celebrated at the United Nations.

ly Kaaba, offers solutions to contemporary Islamic issues and calls for unity through scholarly consensus. He also noted the MWL’s achievement of “Building Bridges between Islamic Schools of Thought, and Sects” a first-of-its-kind document that aims to unite scholars from various Islamic schools and sects. The MWL is actively working to implement this document to achieve unity within the Islamic community.
