Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index concluded today’s trading session at 5,691.17 points, registering a rise of 27.9 points, equivalent to 0.49 percent, from its previous close of 5,663.32 points.
According to Oman News Agency, trading activity witnessed an increase, with total market turnover reaching RO 57,640,700, representing a rise of 5 percent compared to the previous session’s RO 54,895,017.
The official market report released by MSX indicated that overall market capitalization went up by 0.249 percent from the last trading day, settling at approximately RO 31.76 billion.
Non-Omani investor purchases totaled RO 3,130,000, accounting for 5.43 percent of total market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 5,628,000, representing 9.76 percent of market turnover. This resulted in a net decrease in foreign investment of RO 2,498,000, equivalent to a 4.33 percent decrease in foreign net investment activity.
