Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX 30) index today closed at 5,120.05 points, gaining 17.9 points, or 0.35%, compared to the last trading session’s close of 5,102.18 points.
According to Oman News Agency, the trading value reached RO 32,012,577, decreasing by 38.2% compared to the last session’s value of RO 51,799,728. Despite the reduced trading volume, the market value increased by 0.174% from the previous day, reaching approximately RO 30.11 billion.
The report highlighted that non-Omani investors purchased shares worth RO 2,684,000, which constituted 8.39% of the total trading value. Their sales, however, amounted to RO 5,661,000, or 17.68% of the total. As a result, the net investment by non-Omanis saw a decline of RO 2,976,000, or 9.30%.
