Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX 30) index today closed at 5,090.45 points, registering a decline of 3.2 points, or 0.06%, from the previous trading session’s closing of 5,093.62 points.
According to Oman News Agency, the trading value for the session reached RO 17,294,186, marking a significant decrease of 67.7% compared to the last session’s value of RO 10,309,787. The report also highlighted that the market value fell by 0.077% from the previous trading day, reaching approximately RO 29.95 billion.
The data further revealed that non-Omani investors purchased shares worth RO 1,319,000, making up 7.62% of the total trading value. Their sales amounted to RO 1,677,000, accounting for 9.70%. As a result, the net investment by non-Omani investors decreased by RO 359,000, equivalent to 2.07%.
