Muscat: The main committee responsible for overseeing the electronic census in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, and water resources convened for its inaugural meeting at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources. The committee’s focus was on discussing the comprehensive implementation plan, defining the project’s main objectives, and outlining the anticipated outcomes.
According to Oman News Agency, Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources and Chairman of the Main Committee, emphasized the project’s importance in enhancing planning capabilities across the agriculture, fisheries, and water resource sectors. The initiative aims to bring significant improvements to these critical areas, ensuring a more efficient and data-driven approach to resource management.
