Kuwait strongly condemned the recent storming and acts of sabotage targeted at the buildings of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other diplomatic missions in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan.
In a statement, Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs deplored the sabotage acts against the buildings of the embassies of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Palestine and China and the residences of the Bahraini, Palestinian and Omani ambassadors.
The ministry emphasized Kuwait’s unequivocal rejection of the ongoing assaults and acts of sabotage against the premises and buildings of accredited diplomatic missions in Sudan.
Furthermore, the Kuwaiti ministry reiterated its call to the official authorities and all relevant entities in Sudan to take immediate and decisive action to ensure the full protection of the diplomatic mission headquarters under the provisions outlined in the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961.
