Muscat: Khoula Hospital has announced the launch of three significant healthcare initiatives aimed at advancing medical services and reducing patient wait times. The program, unveiled under the slogan “We Continue: Renewed Initiatives, Advanced Care,” includes a substantial increase in specialized surgeries, targeting 1,000 endoscopic procedures in orthopedics, 600 spinal operations, and 500 bariatric surgeries over the coming year.
According to Oman News Agency, the launch event was presided over by Dr. Hilal Ali Al Sabti, the Minister of Health, and served as a platform to highlight the achievements of the previous year’s initiatives. The earlier programs focused on enhancing the quality and efficiency of healthcare services, addressing various challenges, and ensuring sustainable access to medical and therapeutic services. These efforts have been pivotal in reducing waiting lists and improving overall healthcare delivery within the hospital.
The new initiatives represent a continued commitment to healthcare excellence, reinforcing Khoula Hospital’s role as a leader in medical innovation and patient care in the region.
