‘Khareef Al Maarifa 2026’ Endowment Event Begins in Wilayat of Taqah

Muscat: A 10-day event codenamed 'Khareef Al Maarifa 2026' (Knowledge Monsoon 2026) kicked off today in the Wilayat of Taqah, Governorate of Dhofar. The event, which will continue until 14 August 2026, is organized by the 'Sheikh Mustahil bin Ahmed Al Mashani Endowment Foundation', in cooperation with the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs. The opening ceremony was held at the Mosque of Sheikh Mustahil bin Ahmed Al Mashani, under the auspices of Sheikh Tariq bin Khalid Al Hinai, Wali of Taqah.

According to Oman News Agency, Ali bin Nasser Al Owaisi, Director General of the 'Sheikh Mustahil bin Ahmed Al Mashani Endowment Foundation', said, 'The event embodies the Foundation's vision of investing in human beings, out of its conviction that such action constitutes the basis of true development.' Al Owaisi pointed out that the initiative offers an integrated educational and knowledge experience that combines faith, knowledge, technology, and human values, besides responding to the interests of young people in innovative and interactive ways.

Al Owaisi told Oman News Agency that the event focuses on serving the community and grooming generations of benefactors through the implementation of programmes that contribute to developing skills, consolidating Islamic identity, and enhancing community partnership. The event aims to establish an attractive environment that makes learning more enjoyable and combines modern technologies and valuable content in a manner that grooms a balanced personality that possesses knowledge, takes pride in its identity, keeps pace with the requirements of society, and enhances the role of endowment institutions in contributing to community development and investing in human beings.
