Caretaker Minister of Youth and Sports, George Kallas, received in his office today the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Ali bin Hamad Al-Marri, on a farewell visit. Kallas welcomed the Qatari ambassador, appreciating the brotherly relationship between the two countries. He said: "Yesterday we said thank you, Qatar, and today we send a loving greeting through you to the government, people and youth of the State of Qatar, reiterating the complementarity of the relationship between our two countries, and we thank you for embracing the Lebanese community and its youth, as they feel that they are serving two brotherly countries." Kallas added, "The positive echoes of the Qatar World Cup are still in the hearts of every Arab, for it was an Arab achievement in the name of humanity....You have all respect in the heart and in Lebanon, and we thank you for your noble diplomacy in the service of Arab societies."
