Gaza City: The Israeli occupation has escalated its attacks on Gaza City and other parts of the Gaza Strip, leaving scores of Palestinians martyred, wounded, and missing. Sources reported heavy artillery shelling and gunfire south of Gaza City. In addition, the occupation forces bombed a house in Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of the city, resulting in several Palestinians being martyred and wounded, while rescue teams were still attempting to rescue individuals missing under the rubble.
According to Oman News Agency, successive explosions were heard north of the Nuseirat Camp, in the central Gaza Strip. The occupation warplanes also targeted the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, leading to more casualties. In the northern Gaza Strip, the occupation forces continued to target health facilities, directly shelling Kamal Adwan, Al-Awda, and Indonesian hospitals.
The ongoing aggression by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has resulted in 43,341 Palestinians being martyred and 102
,105 others wounded, most of whom are children and women. Thousands remain missing under the rubble, inaccessible to rescue teams. The Gaza Strip and other occupied Palestinian territories are experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe due to the aggression and actions committed against civilians in the strip and the occupied West Bank.
The ongoing aggression in the Gaza Strip has caused dire health conditions following persistent attacks on medical buildings, hospitals, and civil infrastructure. These actions have deliberately denied the entry of medical supplies and fuel needed by medical complexes, as well as preventing access to aid convoys in a violation of International Humanitarian Law, Geneva Conventions, and resolutions of the International Court of Justice amidst a lack of response from the international community.
