Muscat: The Board of Directors of the International Tent Pegging Federation (ITPF) convened a preparatory meeting today in anticipation of its General Assembly meeting scheduled to take place in Muscat tomorrow, Friday, 3 April 2026. The meeting was led by ITPF President Mohammed bin Issa Al Fairuz.
According to Oman News Agency, the preparatory session focused on several key issues. These included the adoption of the ITPF's legal and veterinary regulations and evaluating offers from various countries to host international championships slated for 2026 and 2027. The upcoming events on the ITPF calendar feature a diverse range of competitions, including championships for juniors, youth, beach, women, as well as military, university, friendship, and club championships.
Additionally, the meeting reviewed the results of the recently concluded elections for the ITPF Board of Directors, which will serve from 2026 to 2030.
