Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received cables of greetings on the occasion of the forthcoming blessed Eid Al Fitr for the Hijri year 1447 from several prominent Omani officials. The well-wishers included members of the Royal family, ministers, and senior officials such as His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs; His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu'amani, Minister of the Royal Office and Head of the Office of the Supreme Commander; Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council; Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council; Lt.Gen Hassan bin Mohsin Al Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs; and Lt.Gen Said bin Ali Al Hilali, Head of the Internal Security Service.
According to Oman News Agency, in their messages, the officials conveyed their heartfelt wishes to His Majesty Sultan Haitham, along with their sincere prayers for his continued success in achieving goodness, prosperity, and stability for Oman. They expressed their hopes for the celebration of Eid Al Fitr to be a recurring occasion of joy and blessing for His Majesty, the nation, and its people.
