Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued Royal Decree No. 91/2025 concerning the ratification of an agreement signed in New York on 25 September 2025 between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic. The agreement focuses on a mutual visa waiver for holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports.
According to Oman News Agency, Article (1) of the decree ratifies the aforementioned agreement as outlined in the version attached to the decree. The agreement signifies a step towards enhancing diplomatic relations between Oman and the Kyrgyz Republic by facilitating easier travel for officials holding specific categories of passports.
Article (2) stipulates that the decree will be published in the Official Gazette and that it will be enforced from the date of its issuance. This development underscores a commitment to international cooperation and the fostering of bilateral ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kyrgyz Republic.
