Salalah: Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), arrived in the Sultanate of Oman today on a private fraternal visit. His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik led the welcoming party for the President at the private airport in Salalah. Alongside His Majesty, the UAE President was welcomed by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs, HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth, and other prominent officials.
According to Oman News Agency, after the ceremonial welcome, the motorcade carrying His Majesty the Sultan and the UAE President departed the Private Airport in Salalah, heading to the Al Hosn Palace. The President of the UAE was accompanied by a high-ranking delegation, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and other key officials.
The visit underscores the strong bilateral ties between Oman and the UAE, highlighting the commitment of both nations to nurturing and strengthening diplomatic and economic relations. The presence of influential leaders from both countries indicates the significance of the visit in fostering cooperation and mutual understanding.
