HM The Sultan Concludes State Visit to Belarus

Minsk: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik departed from the Republic of Belarus today, marking the conclusion of a significant two-day state visit.

According to Oman News Agency, the departure was marked by a formal farewell ceremony led by President Alexander Lukashenko at Minsk International Airport. Joining the farewell was Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov, alongside other senior Belarusian officials.

In a gesture of goodwill, His Majesty the Sultan sent a cable of thanks to President Lukashenko, expressing his deep gratitude for the warm hospitality extended during the visit. His Majesty highlighted the fruitful discussions held with the Belarusian President, which served as a platform to strengthen bilateral cooperation, enhance existing relations, and explore new opportunities for partnership and investment to benefit both nations.

Accompanying His Majesty on this diplomatic visit was a high-ranking official delegation, including HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, and several other key Omani ministers and officials. The delegation’s presence underscores the importance of the visit and the commitment to fostering stronger ties between Oman and Belarus.
