HM The Sultan and Turkish President Engage in Strategic Talks

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkiye convened for a session of talks at Al Alam Palace today. The discussions were aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and partnerships between the two nations.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting began with His Majesty the Sultan welcoming President Erdogan and his delegation. President Erdogan expressed gratitude for the hospitality extended to him. The leaders discussed historical ties and explored ways to enhance cooperation to benefit the peoples of both countries. They also addressed various regional and international issues of mutual concern.

Representatives from both nations attended the talks. The Omani delegation included prominent figures such as HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, and Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, among others. The Turkish side was represented by officials including Necmettin Bilal Erdogan, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and Minister of Defence Yasar Guler, highlighting the significance of the meeting.
