Algiers: President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria received Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA), at the presidential premises in the Algerian capital today.
According to Oman News Agency, this meeting was part of an official visit by an Omani delegation to Algeria aimed at exploring cooperation opportunities in economic and investment sectors between the two nations. During the meeting, Al Murshidi conveyed greetings from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, along with wishes for continued health and happiness to the Algerian President and success for the Algerian people.
In response, President Tebboune asked Al Murshidi to deliver his greetings and wishes for ongoing health and wellbeing to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people. The discussion also highlighted the existing cooperation areas and efforts to enhance them, emphasizing the commitment of both countries’ leaderships to expand collaboration across various fields.
The delegation accompanying Al Murshidi included Dr. Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, and several CEOs from companies under the Oman Investment Authority.
