Represented by the Community Health Initiatives Department, the Ministry of Health today held an expanded technical meeting for rapporteurs of health committees in Muscat.
The meeting discussed how to organize the work of health committees in the wilayats of Oman and come up with recommendations that contribute to addressing key challenges and highlighting major achievements over the past few years.
The meeting highlighted several topics, the most important of which include the role of health committees in promoting health, how to manage health committees and deal with the respective recommendations. It also looked into a community competition on cutting down the volume of drugs and psychotropic substances.
