President of the Islamic Supreme Council, Hammam Hammoudi, received in his private office the Undersecretary of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ali Bagheri, who was accompanied by the Iranian Ambassador, Muhammad Al Sadeq.
A statement from Hammoudi's office stated: "The two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them according to an advanced vision that keeps pace with the requirements of the times and the changes in the international arena, in a way that enhances common interests and consolidates stability in the region."
During the meeting, the President of the Supreme Council affirmed: "Iraq is currently witnessing tangible stability, and is looking forward to a strong renaissance through solid service programs, especially in light of the presence of a national popular rally around the framework government and the will for its success."
