The General Department of Medical Services at the Ministry of Interior marked World Patient Safety Day, which falls on September 17, with a series of events focused on this year’s theme: “Improving Diagnosis for Patient Safety”.
Activities took place at Security Forces hospitals in Riyadh, Makkah, and Dammam, as well as at specialized clinics across the Kingdom.
Among the activities were exhibitions on patient safety applications, tours of hospital departments, pertinent workshops, presentations, and discussions on preventive measures to reduce health risks.
The activities emphasized the shared responsibility of patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe, high-quality healthcare environment.
The General Department of Medical Services said it is committed to enhancing patient safety and providing safer healthcare services.
The activities marking the day highlighted the continuous efforts of healthcare staff to create a secure and supportive treatment environment.
