Zaporizhzhia: Five people were killed and 14 others wounded in a Russian attack on the Zaporizhzhia region in southeastern Ukraine, local governor Ivan Fedorov said on the Telegram messaging app today.
According to Oman News Agency, Fedorov stated that Russian forces carried out airstrikes, drone attacks, and artillery shelling, which led to damage of infrastructure, residential buildings, and vehicles.
Ukraine has been engaged in large-scale military operations with Russia since February 2022, with ongoing mutual attacks on multiple fronts as diplomatic efforts to reach a political settlement remain stalled.
