First Batch of Tajik Pilgrims Leaves for Makkah

Dushanbe, The first batch of pilgrims from Tajikistan left Dushanbe International Airport for Makkah yesterday.

Saudi Ambassador to Tajikistan Walid bin Abdulrahman Al-Rashidan and the chairman of the committee on religious affairs in Tajikistan, Sulaymon Davlatzoda, were present at the airport to see the pilgrims off.

Al-Rashidan emphasized the Kingdom’s honor and pride in serving the pilgrims and the sacred sites. He expressed hope that Allah accepts pilgrims’ Hajj as a blessed and commendable journey, and ensures their safe return home.

Davlatzoda expressed gratitude and appreciation to Saudi Arabia for providing facilities and support to pilgrims.
