Muscat: The 2024-2025 Academic Year’s first-term exams of the First Semester for students sitting for the General Education Diploma (GED) and equivalent qualifications will begin tomorrow, Thursday, 23 January, and run until 6 February 2025.
According to Oman News Agency, a total of 61,257 students, both male and female, will participate in the exams. These students are from government schools, private schools, special education schools, and the ongoing education scheme.
The authorities have established 366 well-equipped examination centers across the governorates of Oman, based on student density. Following the exams, around 6,200 teachers will be responsible for marking the students’ answer sheets.
