Muscat: European stocks rose today, recovering after sharp losses suffered in the previous session, as selling in long-term bonds appeared to stabilize amid anticipation of US jobs data. The pan-European Stoxx 600 index climbed 0.4 percent to 545.35 points, boosted by a 1.3 percent gain in the technology sector, which recorded the best performance.
According to Oman News Agency, Adidas shares rose 2.5 percent, contributing positively to the overall market performance. However, not all sectors experienced gains, as Swiss Life shares fell 2.4 percent, reflecting some sector-specific challenges amidst the broader market recovery.
