Muscat: The 11th edition of the "New Age Banking Summit Oman" Conference, held today in the Muscat Governorate, reviewed the future of the banking sector and financial services in light of the digital revolution.
According to Oman News Agency, the event saw the participation of numerous experts and specialists across the banking, finance, investment, financial technology (FinTech), and insurance sectors. The opening of the conference was held under the auspices of Ahmed Jaafar Al Musalmi, Governor of the Central Bank of Oman (CBO), in the presence of Sheikh Salim Mustahail Al Mashani, Advisor at the Diwan of Royal Court. The event was organized by Oman Economic Review (OER) magazine in cooperation with the CBO.
This year's edition of the conference was held under the theme "Modern Banking: AI, Resilience, and Real-Time Finance," keeping pace with the rapid transformations witnessed by the financial sector both regionally and globally.
