Barka: The competitions of His Majesty the Sultan's Camel Cup Festival 2026 commenced today at the Al Fulaij track in the Wilayat of Barka. According to Oman News Agency, the event is organized by the Royal Court Affairs, represented by the Royal Camel Corps. The opening day of the festival featured 32 rounds for the "Hagayeg" category, with races conducted over a distance of 4 kilometers. These races were held in both morning and evening sessions, comprising 20 rounds for "Bakkar" (female camels) and 12 rounds for "Qa'adan" (male camels).
