Beijing: China’s services trade reached 4.58 trillion yuan (USD 644.2 billion) in the first seven months of 2025, marking an 8.2% year-on-year increase, according to data from the Ministry of Commerce.
According to Bahrain News Agency, service exports grew 15.3% to nearly 2 trillion yuan, while imports rose 3.3% to 2.58 trillion yuan, resulting in a deficit of 581.56 billion yuan. Travel-related services recorded a 10.4% increase to 1.26 trillion yuan, with exports surging 62.9%. Knowledge-intensive services also grew 6.8%, exceeding 1.77 trillion yuan.
