The Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, will arrive in Egypt tomorrow, Sunday, on an official visit, at the invitation of his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to participate in the work of the Egyptian-Jordanian-Palestinian tripartite summit.
This was stated today, Saturday, by the Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Cairo, Dhiab Al-Louh, pointing out that a tripartite summit will bring together Presidents Abbas, Sisi and Jordan’s King Abdullah II in the city of El Alamein, “an embodiment of permanent and continuous consultation and cooperation towards various issues at the Arab, regional and international levels and to unify visions among the three leaders to deal with political, regional and international moves.
Al-Louh expressed his thanks to Egypt and President Al-Sisi for hosting this summit and his “appreciated efforts to support the Palestinian people.” He also expressed Palestine’s appreciation for “the relentless efforts made by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, led by the King, in defense of Al-Quds and its sanctities.”
Abbas visited Amman on Tuesday and held a meeting with King Abdullah, which dealt with bilateral relations, common issues and the latest political developments.
