According to Oman News Agency, the Arabian Gazelle is distinguished by its ability to coexist with water scarcity and high temperatures, making it an integral part of the Omani environment throughout the ages. However, this endangered animal faces several challenges, most notably illegal hunting and the shrinking of its natural habitats essential for its life and reproduction.
In line with its commitment to sustainability, the Environment Authority continues to implement programs and initiatives aimed at raising environmental awareness among community members and enhancing their participation in protecting natural resources, as sustainability is a collective respo
nsibility that requires concerted efforts to achieve sustainable development.
