Arab Parliament Condemns Israeli Security Minister’s Storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Arab Parliament condemned the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the occupation group’s far-right Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces. The parliament described this action as irresponsible and provocative, leading to more tension and violence in the region.

The Arab Parliament issued a statement today emphasizing the importance of respecting Jerusalem’s historical and legal status. It also called upon the occupying authority to prevent any actions that target the Arab identity of Jerusalem and its religious sites and to avoid any provocative acts that could escalate tension and violence.

The Arab Parliament urged the international community and human rights organizations to take action and stop the aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque and other holy places.

They also called for holding accountable those responsible for these violations, which undermine efforts to stop the genocidal war against civilians in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Ba
nk, to prevent the escalation of tension in Jerusalem and the occupied Palestinian territories, and to avoid further conflict in the region.
