APSR Reviews Development Projects in North A’Sharqiyah Governorate

Muscat: The Authority for Public Services Regulation (APSR) today held a meeting in the Wilayat of Ibra to discuss prominent plans and projects in the sectors of energy, water, and sanitation in North A'Sharqiyah Governorate.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting brought together officials from APSR, represented by Nama Holding Company, and members of the North A'Sharqiyah Governorate. The discussions centered around the implementation of smart meters, water sector projects, food security initiatives, and the development of water transmission systems. These projects aim to enhance connectivity between the governorate's wilayats and establish links with other governorates in the Sultanate of Oman.

Nama Electricity Supply Company provided an overview of its key services in North A'Sharqiyah Governorate, revealing that the number of registered accounts in the region stood at 96,420. The company also addressed various electricity tariffs, including residential, non-residential, agricultural, and the National Support Project tariff.

The company further presented electricity bill data and shared insights into electricity consumption across all accounts. It highlighted its mobile-phone-linked services and digital applications, which enable customers to access all services through Nama Electricity Supply Company's system.
