Cupertino: Apple unveiled its latest product lineup during its annual “Awe Dropping” event at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, announcing the iPhone 17 family, Apple Watch Series 11, and the third generation of AirPods Pro. The event, streamed live on Apple’s website and YouTube channel using iPhone 17 Pro devices, introduced significant updates across Apple’s ecosystem.
According to Oman News Agency, the new AirPods Pro 3 mark the first upgrade in three years, featuring a built-in heart rate sensor, enhanced Active Noise Cancellation that Apple says delivers “the world’s best noise cancellation experience,” and real-time translation powered by Apple Intelligence. The earbuds also add IP57-rated water and sweat resistance and provide up to 8 hours of listening on a single charge.
Apple also revealed the Apple Watch Series 11, equipped with a blood pressure monitor, a new “Sleep Score” system, and 5G connectivity for the first time. The watch monitors long-term hypertension indicators, al
erts users of risks, and offers a detailed overview of sleep quality.
In addition, the company introduced the Apple Watch SE 3, its first major update in three years to the budget model. The SE 3 comes with an Always-On display, faster S10 processor, sleep apnea detection, support for Double Tap and wrist gestures, and 5G in higher-end versions.
Apple also announced the Apple Watch Ultra 3, featuring its largest display yet with slimmer bezels, extended battery life of up to 72 hours in low-power mode, and advanced health monitoring, including chronic hypertension detection.
On the smartphone front, Apple introduced an all-new model, the iPhone Air. At just 5.6mm thick, it is the thinnest iPhone ever, with a titanium frame and improved Ceramic Shield 2 for triple the scratch resistance. It supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and the new Threads standard via the C1X chip. The iPhone Air replaces the Plus model, sitting between the standard iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Pro.

7 Pro Max debut a unibody design, larger batteries, and a new vapor chamber cooling system for improved performance. Both use an aluminum frame with Ceramic Shield glass and support eSIM. Battery life extends up to 39 hours.
The iPhone 17 Pro features a triple-lens camera system, each with a 48-megapixel sensor enhanced by artificial intelligence (AI), supporting up to 8x optical zoom.
