National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji confirmed that ending the mission of the international coalition came to transform it into bilateral relations to confront terrorism and extremism.
The Advisory said in a statement: “Al-Araji met in his office today, the Australian Ambassador to Baghdad, Glen Miles.” They discussed with him the development of Iraqi-Australian relations at all levels, especially the security and intelligence fields and the continuation of cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
For his part, the Australian Ambassador stressed his country’s keenness to develop relations with Iraq, and to continue support for the Iraqi forces through the NATO advisory mission.
