Agriculture Ministry Floats 21 Investment Opportunities in Al Buraimi

Al Buraimi: Acting in cooperation with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources has introduced 21 new investment opportunities in Al Buraimi Governorate through the ‘Tatweer’ platform, utilizing land areas totaling 659.4 acres.

According to Oman News Agency, these opportunities include agricultural projects, livestock production units, and water bottling units. The primary goal is to support food security and boost investment in Oman’s agricultural sector.

The projects also focus on the cultivation of crops such as date palm trees and the establishment of date production units in the Wilayats of Mahdha and Al Buraimi. The designated areas for these projects range from 12.6 to 64.6 acres each.

Additionally, larger plots have been allocated for potato cultivation in Safwan, Al Madam Plain, and Al Qabil, along with 100 acres dedicated to onion farming in Safwan and Al Qabil.
