A’Dhahirah Municipal Council Discusses Service, Development Projects

Musandam: The Municipal Council of A'Dhahirah Governorate convened a meeting today to evaluate the progress of ongoing service and development projects. The agenda included discussions on consultancy services for designing and restoring Al Kittan Cave, highlighting the region's emphasis on leveraging its geological assets. According to Oman News Agency, the meeting, chaired by Tahir bin Mabkhout bin Ali Al Junaibi, the Governor of A'Dhahirah and Chairman of the Council, also assessed the vision and feedback provided by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism. This was part of efforts to harness the geological features of A'Dhahirah Governorate for optimal use. In addition, the council considered a proposal to establish an integrated public transport station. This initiative aims to enhance connectivity between cities, foster economic growth, and improve access to essential services. Discussion also covered the development of taxi stations to better serve the region's transportation needs. The council further explored the creation of comprehensive information lists detailing the governorate's projects. These lists are intended to be made accessible on the websites of companies operating within the governorate, thus promoting transparency and facilitating collaboration.
