A’Dhahira Municipal Council Explores New Housing and Investment Initiatives

A’Dhahira: The Municipal Council of A’Dhahira Governorate convened today to deliberate on a range of developmental topics focused on enhancing public services and facilities across the governorate’s wilayats. Key among the matters discussed was a proposal aimed at developing the area surrounding Bayt Al-Marh Fort located in the Wilayat of Yanqul, alongside other service-oriented and developmental projects.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting was presided over by Hamdan Nasser Al Yahyai, Deputy Chairman of the A’Dhahira Municipal Council. Specialists from the Directorate General of Housing and Urban Planning presented insights on various initiatives, including a visual showcase of the ‘Tatweer’ platform, the ‘Surooh’ housing scheme, and other housing-related services within the governorate. They also examined potential investment avenues in usufruct lands and evaluated proposed locations for used car showrooms.

Moreover, the council assessed recommendations from previous meetings of the Governorate Development Committee, the Health and Environmental Affairs Committee, and the Social Affairs Committee. In addition, the council ratified the minutes of its preceding session and tracked the progress of its prior recommendations.
