A’Dakhiliyah Municipal Council Deliberates on Infrastructure and Service Enhancements

Muscat: The Municipal Council of A'Dakhiliyah Governorate convened to address several developmental, service, and planning topics pertinent to the governorate's wilayats. The meeting aimed at assessing efforts to improve infrastructure and elevate community services.

According to Oman News Agency, the session, chaired by Yasser Fadhil Al Maharbi, Vice Chairman of the Council, provided updates on the forthcoming Al Jabal Al Akhdar Festival. Discussions encompassed housing, planning, and developmental services within the governorate's wilayats.

The council examined requests concerning developmental and tourism services, scrutinized applications related to service sites, investment, and agricultural projects, and deliberated on planning issues tied to urban expansion and community services in the wilayat.

Additionally, the council reviewed the Ministry of Social Development's annual plan for 2026 and evaluated the final report from the analytical reading initiative of the Directorate of Labour's monthly statistics in A'Dakhiliyah Governorate. The minutes from the fourth Health and Environmental Affairs Committee meeting of 2026 were also examined.

The council stressed the importance of ongoing collaboration with relevant authorities to ensure the implementation of recommendations and developmental projects. This approach aims to enhance service quality and achieve sustainable development throughout A'Dakhiliyah's various wilayats.
